About the Forum:  The 9th  International Forum  of Digital TV and Wireless

Multimedia  Communication (9th IFTC) is  a summit forum in the field of digital TV

and multimedia  communication. The Forum is co-hosted by Springer CCIS,  SIGA,

and The China  International Industry Fair 2012 (CIIF 2012), and co-sponsored  by

Shanghai  Jiao Tong University (SJTU), IEEE BTS Chapter of Shanghai  Section,

Shanghai Institute of Communication, Shanghai Society of Motion  Picture and

Television  Engineers (SSMPTE). The 9th IFTC  serves as an international bridge for

extensively  exchanging the latest research advanc es of digital TV and  wireless

communication  around the world as well as the relevant policies of  industry

authorities. The  Forum is also to promote the technology, equipment and  application

in the field of  digital TV and multimedia by comparing the characteristics,  framework,

significant  techniques and their maturity, analyzing the performance of  various

applications in  terms of scalability, manageability and portability and discussing  the

interfaces among  varieties of networks and platforms. In the beautiful autumn  season,

we warmly welcome  international and domestic researchers, government officials  and

industry leaders to  Shanghai to  share your visions on digital TV and wireless

multimedia  communication together.

Topics:  The forum program  will include keynote speeches, oral and poster sessions of

contributed papers.  The thematic topics of 9th IFTC is  Networked New Media

Cooperative  Innovation. Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts  on

topics including  but not limited to:

Paper submission:  Authors should  submit a PDF version of their papers of not more

than 6 pages  including results, figures and references. Papers will be accepted only  in

English by  electronic submission at www.siga.com.cn/iftc2012. All  accepted papers

will be published  in the conference proceedings by Springer (Indexed by  EI, and

Online Access at  Springer Database). Please see the  conference website
